A group is a list of users or resources you can send messages to by selecting the group name rather than selecting or typing each individual name or address. A resource is an item such as a room or piece of equipment.
There are two types of groups and resources: public and personal.
Public groups are created by the GroupWise® system administrator and placed in the GroupWise system address book for access by all GroupWise users. You cannot modify public groups.
Personal groups are groups you create and store in your personal address book. Only you have access to your personal groups.
Public resources are rooms, equipment, and so forth that can be scheduled for use. Public resources must be created by the GroupWise system administrator.
Personal resources are resources you create and store in your personal address book. Only you have access to your personal resources. Unlike public resources, you cannot schedule personal resources. They are for your own personal information.
You can add groups and resources to the To, CC, or BC boxes of any item by using the Address Book or typing the group or resource name.
